Format changeover

Format changeover gearmotors are slightly different to a standard automation product.

They are typically used to align a guard or barrier on a machine or conveyor once every shift or product change. They need to do this with speed and precision yet the overall duty cycle is low.

This allows for a compact body to give a large force, either linear or rotary. Minimotor also incorporated their brushless motor and absolute encoder technology for accuracy and repeatability.
