Terminal covers and warning signs

AD, SAD, FAD, ZAD, TWMF

Some regulations require that the mains power terminals must be covered.

This then discourages any operation of the screws or cross connector while ‘Live’.

The EA , AD, SAD, FAD and ZAP covers are mainly available in yellow (labelled with a lightning flash) are used to cover the cross connect channel and screw holes of the terminal.

EA, AD & SAD covers are for the screw terminal range, where the FAD are for pressure spring and ZAD are for the tension spring range.

The BS 1 marker pen or the EMS labelling system can be used to label the white variants. The AD 4, is designed to cover four terminals of various sizes and is secured by two plastic screws.

The AQ 4 is used on the older RK series of scrfew terminals and covers the cross connect channel only, to cover the screw in cross connectors.

To complete the range the AD 3 is a transparent cover that can be cut to length and mounted using the TWMF partition plates.
