SUCO, well known for its pressure switches, has just launched another in its ATEX range: the 0342/0343 series.

SUCO employs around 150 people and was established in 1938, near Stuttgart in Germany. It produces mechanical pressure switches, vacuum switches, electronic pressure switches and pressure sensors.

There are very many applications for these pressure switches but the most common areas are in mobile hydraulics, medical gas systems and pneumatic systems.

Mechanical pressure and vacuum switches have options for almost every requirement from the electrical and thread connections to the body and wetted parts materials.

Suco's ATEX Range

The pressure switch is part of SUCO’s ATEX range. This range meets EU safety requirements for workplaces and equipment used in explosive atmospheres.

These switches are certified to meet the standards of ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and the standards of the IECEx system.

They are suitable for explosion protection zones:

  • 0342 / 0343: Gases and vapours 1 + 2, Dusts 21 + 22 and mining M2

Also, available.

The switching point can be easily adjusted by the user whilst the system in operation or even pre-set at factory to your required set point.

It has an extremely compact design.
