Structured light 3D scanners

3D Scanning of Transparent, Translucent and Shiny Objects. Enabling New Automation in Logistics, Automotive and Pharma.

Clear & complete scans:
New 3D scanning method allows significantly improved signal-readout from transparent, translucent, and glossy objects to provide much more completeness and quality of 3D scans even without the need of using coating and scanning sprays. Allowing to automate previously challenging use cases in logistics, automotive and pharma industries. Thanks to COMPIS this can happen at a fast cycle so it is ready for deployment.

Super-fast 3D scanning with doubled resolution. Enabling 2x resolution, 5x faster scanning, 10x more applications with2 Mpix resolution in motion:
MotionCam-3D now allows you to scan scenes in motion at 2 Mpix resolution. This brings significant improvement to many industrial applications, from inspection and quality control to vision-guided robotics. The 2 Mpix resolution enables faster bin pickings with lower cycle times, less errors, and faster error recovery. Effective resistance to vibrations and non-linear movement allows you to pick object from conveyors or inspect them in motion. Hand-eye setups are now possible to do with minimum stopping and no slow-downs during scan acquisition.

The power of Parallel Structured Light:
Parallel Structured Light brings the state-of-the-art quality and resolution of structured light scanning into the 3D reconstruction of highly dynamic scenes. This novel patented technology uses a clever sensor design which performs the acquisition in one snapshot as opposed to the sequential scanning of a standard image sensor. This means that the Parallel Structured light method practically freezes the 3D scene in time.
