The OEM Automatic Machine Vision Team exhibits at Dublin's National Manufacturing and Supply Chain Exhibition

Machine vision specialists from OEM Automatic exhibited at The National Manufacturing Exhibition Ireland on the 23rd and 24th of November 2021. This was the first time OEM Automatic exhibited at the Dublin based exhibition. The show is a must-attend event for those wanting to connect with a full spectrum of manufacturing specialists, including companies in the food, drink, pharmaceuticals, medical, chemical, life sciences and electronics industries.

What did OEM Automatic have on show for visitors?

In this exhibition, we were particularly excited to represent Basler camera systems, including the Boost, Blaze & Ace series, all suitable for use in industrial applications and manufacturing. 

On the stand, the product specialists performed live demonstrations using the Basler Boost, Blaze and Ace series cameras. 

OEM are the official UK and Ireland distributor of Basler products, who specialise in high-quality cameras used for applications including factory automation, medical and life sciences, traffic and transport, retail and many more markets.

On top of the extensive machine vision camera product offering, Basler also offers frame grabbers, lighting, accessories and lens solutions.

In addition to this, we showcased live demonstrations of the Sony FCB, Datalogic P2X, Adaptive Vision Studio and Advantech PC products too.

“The National Manufacturing Exhibition Ireland was an OEM first since our new partnership with Basler mid-2020. This was a region Basler has always had a strong presence and somewhere OEM want to continue and build on an already strong brand name.

Late November was, for some, the first-time meeting face to face with a customer that we have had contact with throughout the year, and it was great to put a person’s face to the virtual relationships we had initially forged.

On the stand, we were demonstrating our software package from Adaptive vision, showcasing some very intuitive and competitive software ideal for some simple presence detection all the way up to deep learning and AI solutions. We also had 3D imaging cameras, GigE and the new thermal imaging camera from Basler, along with the Sony FCB and the new P2X series smart camera systems from Datalogic.

We were made to feel very welcome and took a lot from this year's National Manufacturing Exhibition, not only conversations with existing and new customers to OEM but also ideas from some very informative, interactive seminars, which were also a large feature of this years exhibition.
