OEM Automatic becomes new distributor for Basler products in the UK and Ireland
From July 2020, OEM Automatic Ltd will become the official distribution partner for Basler products in the UK and Ireland.
Basler, a leading international manufacturer of high-quality imaging components for computer vision applications, has appointed OEM Automatic as their new official distribution partner for the UK and Ireland.
Starting July 1, 2020, OEM Automatic Ltd will handle all technical and commercial affairs with Basler cameras and vision components for the customers.

We strongly feel that the combination of a Basler sales organization, along with OEM as a distributor assures our UK customers of the best support and most cost effective solutions,” said John Jennings, Chief Commercial Officer, Basler AG.
Basler already has long-term partnerships with other OEM subsidiaries across Europe. The company is convinced that their UK customers will benefit from the modern logistics arrangements of the new partner. OEM offers distribution services with off-the-shelf availability and automated warehousing functionality.
A dedicated machine vision team
The vision team here at OEM automatic have a wealth of technical knowledge and experience of machine vision behind them. Alongside the expertise of the team, onsite we have a machine vision and identification training and demonstration lab to test customer applications.

We already carry approx. 8000 product lines near Leicester including control panels, pressure and flow instruments, motors and sensors. We will be adding substantial Basler stock to this in order to support our customers. OEM’s enlarged machine vision product offering
OEM Automatic Ltd is delighted that they will now supply the whole Basler range of equipment, also sold by all other OEM subsidiaries.
OEM also currently stocks and supplies over 50 other leading brands, acting as their local sales partner, and more new suppliers and products will be joining the machine vision product offering this year.
