About Pancake Motors

Pancake motors, also known as printed armature motors or servo disc motors, are commonly used for applications requiring a quick start and stop, zero cogging (smooth running) or accurate and precise control.

PMW's pancake motors differ from conventional DC pancake motors by using a unique slotless disc armature design. The design enables them to produce an accurate and sustainable level of performance in both incremental motion and continuous speed, which is not possible with conventional iron-core motor designs.

Able to operate at high ambient temperatures of up to 150°C (302°F). These motors ensure high reliability.
