AGRO was founded 1953 in Switzerland. By 1955, AGRO was granted their first patent for cable glands.

With more than six decades of technical expertise, AGRO has become a reliable partner in many industries including renewable energy, shipyards, oil refineries and food processing. AGRO is the first company to develop cable glands for EMC-applications. These cable glands can prevent condensation, fire or disturbances caused by electromagnetic waves.

A range of professional cable glands for potentially explosive atmospheres. IECEx approved covering Ex d IIC, Ex e II and Ex I IIC manufactured in nickel plated brass and glass fibre reinforced polyamide.  Multiple cable entry and EMC options complete this range.
