Magnatrol manufacture high quality 2-way, normally closed and normally open solenoid valves from 3/8” to 3” in bronze and stainless steel.
Magnatrol’s degreasing and black light testing facility also allows adapted valves to be suitable for cryogenic fluids. These include liquid oxygen (-297°F), liquid argon (-303°F) and liquid nitrogen (-320°F).
Other specialities include valves for steam, brine, sandy well water and gritty coolant.
Clark Cooper is Magnatrol’s specialist valve adaption arm. They produce standard and bespoke valves from ¼” to 2”, operating up to pressures of 15,000 psi.
The specialist valve range complies with European ATEX requirements, and those of the emerging hydrogen dispensing markets. The range is also available in oxygen clean versions.

Hot Water and Steam Valves
Magnatrol offers a range of solenoid valves suitable for hot water and steam applications. These valves are designed for precise flow control in demanding environments. The Type W is a normally closed valve constructed from 304 stainless steel, operating from zero pressure with a maximum static pressure of 200 PSI. Similarly, the Type WR is a normally open valve, also made from 304 stainless steel, with identical pressure specifications and zero-pressure operation. Both models feature full-port designs with NPT threaded ends, ensuring efficient flow and easy installation
