AC-DC Power Supplies

DC-DC Power Supplies

DC-UPS and Buffer Modules

Our DC-UPS systems provide great flexibility and reliability and are very easy to install. A complete DC-UPS system consists of a control unit as well as a battery and power supply with suitable power for the application. In the event of a power failure, the battery is automatically switched on and supplies connected loads.

IP54, IP65 AND IP67 POWER SUPPLIES

<div class="row"><div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-6"><div class="row"><div class="col-xs-12"> With FIEPOS, PULS presents a completely new and unique type of power supply that has been developed precisely to move the power supply out of the electrical cabinet. The FIEPOS units are available with protection classes IP54, IP65 or IP67 and are easy to install and flexible to meet the different unique requirements in each application. It also simplifies the planning and maintenance of complete or expandable systems. In addition, the electrical cabinet can be replaced with smaller versions or completely removed. In short, PULSE FIEPOS is the alternative to a power supply from a central control cabinet, a decentralized control box or a customer-specific solution. FIEPOS is available in two different series, Basic and Efused.</div></div></div><div class="col-xs-12 col-sm-6"><iframe width="100%" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ccEwWyESyrg?rel=0" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" data-lf-yt-playback-inspected-laxoeakq1v7oygd0="true"></div></div>

Redundant Power Supplies

Power supplies with built-in redundancy can replace redundancy modules and do not rely as much on width. You get a secure system that is extra important in applications where downtime is costly. The power supplies have quick-connect contacts on both the input and output for quick and easy replacement in the event of a fault. This way, you never have to shut down the application to install a new power supply.

Redundancy Modules

With a redundant module from Puls, you get a secure system against internal faults on power supplies, which is particularly suitable in processes where downtime is costly. The redundant module can also be used in systems where you want to ensure the operation of sensitive loads. Input 1 is connected to the main unit which normally supplies loads and eg PLC. Redundancy modules with MOSFET technology PULS developed a decoupling solution with MOSFETs to fulfil the need for minimal no-load losses. For instance, when using a MOSFET module, a load current of 40A will only produce power losses amounting up to 3W. With MOSFETs as a decoupling element, even voltage drops can be minimised. The voltage drop at 40A output current is lower than 50mV between the input and output. After implementing MOSFETs, even the parallel-use mode achieves better thermal balance, thus leading to an extended lifetime of the power supplies. In this process, the load current is divided equally between the individual power supplies. AS Interface Units

The interface units supply AS-interface systems with voltage via the yellow AS-interface cable. The communication between the different slaves is modulated and is embedded in the output voltage of the power supply. Therefore, special power supplies are required that do not filter out the data information.

Accessories for Power Supplies

Power over Ethernet

With the help of our Power over Ethernet energizers, you can power up to 8 Ethernet circuits. It is possible to run on 230V AC or to connect to your 48V DC unit.

Electronic Circuit Breakers

The PISA multi-channel electronic circuit breakers with DIN rail mounting are designed for current distribution and protection of DC 24 V load circuits. The PISA electronic circuit breakers distribute the current of large power sources to multiple lower current output channels and therefore allow for smaller wires to be used. In the event of a fault, the electronic circuit breaker reliably switches off the channels and protects the loads.
