AGRO, established in 1953 in Switzerland, has over six decades of technical expertise in the manufacture of cable glands. They are a reliable partner in industries such as renewable energy, shipyards, oil refineries, and food processing. Notably, AGRO was the first company to develop cable glands for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) applications, effectively preventing issues like condensation, fire, and disturbances caused by electromagnetic waves.

AGRO offers a wide range of specialised products designed for demanding applications such as explosive environments (EX), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), high-temperature settings, and heavy-duty operations. Their portfolio includes the PROGRESS® range, providing 360º strain relief and high tightness with a variety of seal inserts for single and multiple cable entries; the SYNTEC® range, offering economical lamellar technology glands in nickel-plated brass or polyamide PA 6 for everyday installations; PROGRESS® EX, IECEx approved cable glands for potentially explosive atmospheres; PROGRESS® EMC, designed for cable installations in environments prone to electromagnetic interference; and PROGRESS® ULTRAFLAT, ideal for cleanrooms and the food industry with its tamper-proof, smooth, and chemically resistant design. These products reflect AGRO’s dedication to providing high-quality, reliable solutions for complex industrial needs.

OEM Automatic is an authorised distributor of AGRO’s cable glands.
